A Relationship-Centered Coaching Partnership
I am certified as a life and executive coach through Symbiosis Coaching.
As a fire department peer support trained individual and educator, I realized the impact of “professional coaching to improve lives and build resiliency”. Yes, I too am coached often and I have experienced the benefits of clarity of thought and better decision making in my life.
Personal Life: I have been married to my bride for the past 32 years, and have experienced the ups and downs of life.
I enjoy time with family, bicycling, swimming, RV camping, motorcycles, Cozumel, travel, and both of our Chihuahuas (Dixie and Nala).
I began my career as a volunteer firefighter in upstate New York, then four years in the military (USAF), followed by the next 36 years in various fire agencies in northern Colorado.
We have owned a home on the island of Cozumel, Mexico since 1995. I have been fortunate to work with many US instructors as we coordinated, equipped, and trained the firefighters of Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, and Cancun.
I have served on numerous boards as a director, president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary. I understand governance issues domestically and internationally, and understand the challenges of leadership at all levels.
My education includes a Bachelors in Business, and Master of Education degrees. I chose an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited training program (Symbiosis). As a Certified Life and Executive coach, I am committed to continual improvement through continuing education, professional affiliations, and growth opportunities.
What I bring to coaching is a coaching session framework (International Coaching Federation – ICF) to facilitate our conversations and your growth. Coaching is not being an expert in another person’s life, it is being an expert in the ICF process of offering thought provoking and awareness building questions and observations. Often I will provide reflections for my client and be an active listener to provide valuable feedback during sessions. Many times this leads to those A-ha moments of enlightenment and personal growth. I commit to being present with you and your thoughts in a most respectful and appropriate manner.
Let’s talk when you have questions or are willing to move forward toward your view of your “path 2 clarity” through coaching. .
